Street Stocks

We will be using the RC Chili Bowl body rules for this class.  The rules can be found at R/C Chili Bowl.

A driver may only race one street stock class.

This class will be divided into "13.5 Street Stock and "17.5 Street Stock" depending on your skill level.

If any rule is not clearly stated in this section as being legal, then it is illegal for this class.  If you have any questions about possible gray areas in the rules for this class, please ask.

1/10th buggy 2wd chassis.  The chassis must remain in its original manufactured configuration.  Altering the chassis is not allowed.  Mid and rear motor configurations allowed.

17.5 Street Stock (lower skill level) any 17.5 motor or smaller, and any ESC in blinky mode.

13.5 Street Stock (upper skill level) any 13.5 motor or smaller, and any ESC in blinky mode.

Tires must be buggy front and rear.  Buggy front and rear wheels/tires will be used in their intended designed locations.

2 cell lipo battery limit.

1/10th scale stock car body.  A spoiler may be added to the rear.  The top of the spoiler can only be 1 inch off the rear deck.  Windows must remain intact.  No decked bodies.  No extra skirting allowed near the bottom of the body.

Any springs are allowed.

All chassis, suspension, and major components of the car will be unaltered original equipment manufactured parts.  Some aluminum upgrades are allowed.  These parts must be direct replacement to the OEM parts and be designed for the buggy they are being installed on.  Some of these parts include, shock caps, bell cranks, bulkhead, hub carriers, etc.
